Tommy Nugent will be our guest at the next CVAAS Skeptically Drinking. You’ve seen him in a Youtube video in a previous post, and now he will be at March’s Skeptically Drinking.
Tommy is playing in the Rogue Performance Festival that is being held the first and second weekends in March. He will be performing at the Starline at 831 E. Fern at these showtimes:
Friday, 3/5 10:00 pm
Starurday, 3/6 5:30 pm
Sunday, 3/7 1:00 pm / 5:30 pm
Friday, 3/12 8:30 pm
Saturday, 3/13 2:30 pm
Sunday, 3/14 5:30 pm
About Tommy’s show:
Comedic storyteller Tommy Nugent recounts his journey from Pentecostal preacher to atheist street magician unlocking the secrets of the Universe over two trips to the Burning Man festival. Who knew ‘accidental enlightenment’ was to be found in the desert with the help of cheese whizzed nipples, ‘special’ brownies, and a mysterious and underdressed stranger? (CRITIC’S PICK – Cincinnati CityBeat, FABBY Award Winner – Orlando Fringe, 4.5 star (of 5) average patron review – Minnesota Fringe.)
Tommy won’t be at Skeptically Drinking to perform for us, but to have fun and get to know us. And perhaps he’ll recount a story or two.
