The Freedom from Religion Foundation has launched their “virtual billboard” campaign based upon their “Out of the Closet” public relations billboards first posted in Madison, Wisconsin.
These personal billboards are used to put faces on real nonbelievers, and to give a ‘voice’ to their viewpoint.
This is very much in the tradition of CVAAS – to be “A Secular Voice in the Valley”.
And now the FFRF is offering an online tool for anyone to make thier own billboard. They see this as a way to “make a difference in how atheists and agnostics are perceived by our religion-deferential society.” Yes, it’s fun. And the billboard you create might actually be picked up for use as a real billboard.
Give it a try!
