Yesterday’s meeting was greeted with a gift from a very kind Christian lady.
The gift came with a card featuring the painting of “Christ Knocking at Heart’s Door” (1942, Warner Sallman) Our benefactor indicated that the accompanying copies of Lee Strobel’s “The Case for Easter” were a gift to be given out to CVAAS members.
We passed out several copies to interested atheists and skeptics last night, and still have a few of them left for anyone who wants one.
These are undersized books, about 92 pages in length. The publisher’s page says that they are comprised of an excerpt taken from Strobel’s book “The Case for Christ”. The introduction says that Strobel used to be a hard-nosed atheist reporter who investigated, and was won over by, the evidence for Jesus.
You can find a review of Strobel’s “The Case for Christ” on The Secular Web, written by Jeffery Jay Lowder.
CVAAS still has 6 copies of “The Case for Easter” available to give away to anyone who wants one. If you would like a copy, please send an email to info@cvaas.org and ask. We will make arrangements to deliver one to you.
