- • What is CVAAS?
- CVAAS is an organization dedicated to promoting secularism and skepticism in California’s
San Joaquin Valley region. - • Why are you here?
- There is a popular perception that the citizens of California are predominantly
liberal in both politics and religion. This is not true in the California interior
and farmlands. The Central Valley Alliance of Atheists and Skeptics exists to give
a voice to those secular and rational people who live in religious conservative
areas of the California Central Valley. We formed in order to:
- Promote secular viewpoints in public discourse
- Educate the public on the use of rational scientific inquiry and positive secular
philosophy - Promote the First Amendment guarantee of separation of state and church
- Urge camaraderie among the secular community and their supporters
- Encourage joining or forming affiliated non-theistic organizations
We hope to be the secular voice of the valley
- • Can I write for CVAAS? Can I publish on the CVAAS website?

that interests you? Write about it. Found a Church / State issue we should be aware
of? Send it in! Are you forming a local atheist / skeptic / rational philosophy
group – advertise it with us!To post on our website, send the text and photos to info@cvaas.org.
